it was amazing
bookshelves: sci-fi, halloween
Recommended for: weird tales people, anyone looking for a good short-story book

If I had to pick one genre of fiction to keep me going for the rest of my life, it would definitely be Weird Fiction. In the grey area between Sci-Fi and Horror sits a little pulp magazine, and from its pages some (if not all) of the great writers of the 20th century were born.

I actually owned this book once before, but lost it before I could make my way through all the stories. I loved Fruiting Bodies (one of the best freak accidents of tropical mycology ever) so much that I went searching for another copy. All that I could remember was that I'd bought the last one at Barnes & Noble about ten years ago, and that there was a green thing of some sort on the cover. Nothing could surpass my delight in actually finding the right book, except maybe reading it.
