The author takes on sexism in the wizarding world in this edition of Discworld, and does another fantastic job.

As with any of Mr. Prachet's books, don't expect high prose. The author constructs a world and story using simple language and presents it in a very light reading style. He creates a smart, witty, and fun world which lets you zip through the story.

With this story, however, I long for a "director's cut." The climax felt shorted. It is almost as if he had a page budget, and realized he was running out of room, and had to rush the ending.

That being said, the ending is well constructed, and closes the story, but leaves you wanting to read more of this universe.
