it was amazing
bookshelves: contemporary, book-club

Great story. A real page turner. A single mom leaves without a warning. Her two best friends who are watching her young daughter are worried. Meanwhile two separate scenarios play themselves out. In one, the mom is kidnapped and held prisoner. In the other she is meeting a married loved. Which one is real?

A compelling hybrid of sophisticated crime writing and modern womens fiction. 2 genres I rarely read.
