Next to Zsadist, Vishous is my favourite character in this series. Honestly, I like all of the men so far, and Wrath holds a special place in my heart, but a man with a tortured past is my kryptonite. And Vishous definitely fits the bill. Dammit, every time there was a flashback I cringed. His suffering was just as terrible as Z's. I'm thankful that JRW gave us the background for V's tattoos and the power of his hand. Incredibly unreal but I figured out the truth about his power so I'm glad I was right.

OMG and we finally got some honesty regarding the sitch between V and Butch...

“As V ignored the jab, he found himself focusing on Butch's lips. In a very quiet voice, he said, "You know… I totally wanted to have sex with you."
"I know." Butch's head twisted around, and their eyes met. "Past tense now, huh."
"Think so. Yeah.”

Because V finally found true love with Jane. And I cannot believe how she fits in with his nightmare!! Gish, their story was so crazy but beautiful and tragic. Yes, they get their HEA but the way it was given is surreal.

Goodness, John finally transitions in this book and everything from there is just hotness. His bond with Z is stronger than ever and I can't wait for the great reveal of his real connection to Darius.

Phury really pissed me off in this book. If he's not stupidly pining after Bella (and let's be real. Enough is enough already with this plot) he's wallowing in self-pity and contemplating the state of his addiction. He was such a strong character before, a gentleman truly, so why is he being painted like this? The only good things he did was step up for V as Primale, give Cormia some freedom, and ixnay the Directrix. I hope his character is redeemed in the next instalment considering its his book. But so far JRW hasn't been seeing things my way. *shrugs*
