Decent mystery. Great research! Not being a fan of the more hard-boiled leaning mysteries, I wasn't real keen on some of the female imagery..for instance "Charteris admired the pistonlike action of what appeared to be a fine female bottom underneath." Excuse me? "Pistonlike"?????
