Ok I initially wanted to read this so I ccould read the Carpathian novella from Christine Feehan "Dark Hunger" and it was fairly typical of all the others in the series with the exception that Juliette (the woman who become converted) actually welcomes the change. But it is the other stories in this anthology that make this collection great. I suppose I enjoyed Emma Holly's "the Night Owl" the most. Mariann is a mature woman who lives alone in the country town as the local baker, who is eventually swept off her feet by one of the resident vampires. Maybe I just like vamps the most - I am not sure, but this one really tickled my fancy! Angela Knight tantalised me with her vampire knight Galahad from the anthology "Bite" and here in "Seduction's Gift" Lancelot lives up to his reputation as a horny hunk of vampy knight in shining armour. YUM!
