Might even say 3 and 1/2 stars. I enjoyed this. Loved the time period and the fact that it started off in Chicago. Loved the sweetness and innocence of Hadley and "Hem" and even though we all know Ernest had many more lovers/wives/etc after her, there's was really a great story of love in all it's beauty and ugliness. I really liked the author's prose, especially as the book came to an end. Now I want to wikipedia Hemmingway to figure out what was true...
