it was amazing

I loved it. At the core of everything the author writes is relationship, with Jesus. She pours her heart out throughout the pages of this book as a broken woman who comes to realize after so much painful soul-searching how to live fully, abundantly, and gloriously in God's grace as she keeps track of her one thousand gifts. Her beautiful poetic style of writing grabbed me immediately. I loved it and I don't care for poetry. The words seemed to add so much enjoyment to the reading of the story. Most books I tend to skim read through a lot of them if they tend to get a little slow in places. I didn't do that at all in this one. The end lesson, I'd say, is to live in a perpetual state of gratitude, being thankful for everything that comes your way and take the time to enjoy it. Who could ask for anything more in life than that?

This is a book that is truly unique, profound and brilliant, if you "get it".
