it was amazing

This is an exciting day by day account of Lincoln's assassination and the ensuing manhunt for his killer, John Wilkes Booth. Swanson reveals a lot of surprising details of the assassination and the following days. This book helped correct a misconception I had regarding the role Dr. Mudd played in Booth's flight towards the south.

My only problem with the book is that I wanted to see more pictures included with the text. I'm guessing that as Swanson's previous book including several hundred photos, he felt they would be redundant here.
