That this book is written by a man is weird. The book is about the two lives of women- one London magazine editor and the other Nigerian girl and how their lives intersect. That little bee is a nigerian girl, well, seeing that it is Nigeria there's going to be some trouble. The men in this book, with the exception of the son, are not seen as all bright and shiny- their cons are accentuated a thousand times more than their pros. Heartbreaking choices have to be made within this story that change the courses of lives, let leave it at that. The story ramps up very clever-like so you don't know the full tale until the end.
