Sunset at Lake Crane is a story about love and forgiveness. A love that could have been the greatest love, that one person took away because of jealousy. This is a story about consuming love, loss, pain, lies, and learning to forgive.

Erynn and Grant were student and teacher once in their lives, but their affair didn’t start until Erynn was out of high school. In the summer after Erynn graduated, they had met while out with friends. Not expecting anything out of their walks and long conversations, they had started an affair that they hid from everyone. Worried about what the town people would think, but they were happy…as happy as any couple in love could be. Instead of seeing where their love would go, one person blackmailed Erynn and force her into leaving Grant without even a goodbye. Erynn left heartbroken to protect the one she loved most, while Grant left shattered. With the pain of losing Erynn, he was left with hate for her. Years later, when an opportunity came up for revenge Grant took it. But being stuck together for two months, left them with lots time together, old feelings came surfacing back. Will Grant really continue on with his plan to hurt Erynn, as much as she hurt him when she left? Or Will Grant finally find out the truth and forgive her? Will they get their second chance at love? Read and find out.

This was a very mellow read, that consumed me. It was heartbreaking, sweet and intense. Erynn and Grant were sweet and sexy together. These two are very much in love with such forgiving hearts. I really enjoyed reading about their past, their love, their heartache and forgiveness. Such a beautiful story.
