really liked it
bookshelves: dual-pov, music, secrets

This author's writing is just as great in this book. Dunbar made me absolutely live Perkins. I liked him in the other books, but he was amazing in this one. Hollister? Not so much. I actually didn't like her for about 90% of the book. I just couldn't stand her. I get that she went through A LOT. I get it. No one should have to go through that trauma. But there were too many times to count when she was plain disrespectful to Perkins. He's saving her left, right and centre and all she does is lie, keep secrets, and mouth off at really inappropriate times. She didn't show any appreciation!! WTH?? So yeah, that was annoying.

Jordan and Michael were some really delusional psychos. And the tie-in with her family was weird. Her entire family seems off, which was further evidenced with Elaine in book two.

I really liked seeing Arturo again in this book. But I need to know what is going on with him. He's so broken. I want him to get his HEA.
