Path of Freedom (Quilts of Love, #3)
I don't read a lot of novellas or "category" books because they're so short they don't always have as much character or plot depth as I like. I picked this up because I've enjoyed her other books, and was pleasantly surprised that although Path of Freedom was a quick read, it still had interesting, well developed characters and layers. Kudos to Jennifer Hudson Taylor for fitting all of the "good" of a full-length novel in one half the size. The storyline was good and included a few twists, the characters were imperfect but likable, and I learned a few things about Quakers and the Underground Railroad. A great choice for a weekend read.
