really liked it

I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of those books you can't help but judge by it's cover but go ahead. This is one of the prettiest covers i have seen. In fact the cover is the reason why i wanted to read this book.
Initially i struggled getting into the story as the author throws a lot at the reader, without much of an explanation and although it serves as a plot line it is a little hard going to begin with.
However, i am glad that i stuck with it! As the story got going and we got deeper into the plot line i found myself unwilling to put the story down.

The author has obviously put a lot of trouble and effort into the research and planning of this story and it has paid off. Although a fairly complex plot line, as it starts to unravel and the action gets going it is a very compelling read that leaves you on the edge of your seat, with twists and turns you don't see coming.

I gave it 4 stars.
