The book starts of interesting describing the characters that appear throughout the book, getting past the middle of the book, the plot becomes tedious, dealing with the forensic investigator Theresa Maclean her past life, her present life with her daughter, in any case once past the middle I started skipping pages, as the plot seemed to unfold far too slowly for me, the forensic details became complicated time spent in the lab, seemed extremely unrealistic, in any case unfortunately according to Tess Gerritsen, who claims it is "Unputdownable thriller" perhaps until around page 180
