it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-fiction, mysteries-historical

Loved this. Interesting settings/characters, and moved along at a fast pace. I did think some of the translation felt awkward, but it didn't diminish the story in any way. Highly recommended to those who enjoy historical fiction, esp. fans of Adriana Franklin's "Mistress of the Art of Death"
