liked it
bookshelves: book-club, adult-lit, chick-lit

Three empty-nested, single women decide "it's now or never" and leave behind life in the big city to restore a 100-year-old countryside estate on their own. The story follows their stresses, successes and failures as agree to spend at least a year on "Ladybug Farm."

I wavered between giving it the "it was okay" 2 stars and "I liked it" 3 stars. Actually, I think it's somewhere in between (maybe a 2.5?). This book is definitely light reading and very much "chick lit," but a little too much so for my taste. However, it was a good, clean, fun story!
