Probably one of the most distracting and annoying books ever written, which is really sad considering the subject material is so important. To many names, to much repetition and not enough narrative flow to keep me interested. One second were here with this platoon, two sentences later we're with a mortar crew; two sentences after that we're at the command post. I understand we're trying to examine the battle as it unfolds minute by minute but it doesn't work when you feel the need to include EVERYONE in the discussion at the same time.
