My goodness!! As I stated in my review for Forget, this book was AMAZING!! Hands down one of the best 'series' I had the pleasure of reading in 2015. I can't even really put this experience in words but I'm going to try a lil bit.
This was emotional. I'm not going to lie. If you don't like to have your stomach and/or your heart in knots, then this may not be the read for you. However, there is a HEA and I hope this will be enough to sway your mind into giving this a chance. I personally don't regret it, despite the fact that there were MANY times that I was extremely frustrated with Brooke's actions. She had so many secrets that stood in the way of her happiness with Dylan and they weren't even her secrets!! She was breaking both of their hearts for someone else!! And not in the way you think. There is a 'love triangle' but not in the way most might think. Honestly, you will probably figure out the truth in book 1 but the trouble is really with Brooke's big heart. There is nothing wrong with her heart but really... damn girl! She just needed to step out of her own way.
Dylan... Dylan... Dylan... He has made it into my FICTIONAL BOYFRIEND HALL OF FAME!! Yes he's that awesome!! The size of his heart, quite frankly, rivaled that of Brooke's. He was just so wonderful. I wanted to eat his deliciousness up! He loved Brooke sooooooo much and put up with soooooooo much. I'm just glad his love, patience, and forgiveness were rewarded in the end. But holy hell what this man's heart had to go through in order for love to prevail. He needs to be commended for just being so great!!
I can honestly say that anything this author wants to write I will read. Novel. Novella. Poem. Grocery list. I'm on that ish!!
