it was amazing
bookshelves: favorite-series, great-ya

One of my favorite series, the sequel starts off with secrets and then even more secrets. Magical and frightening, I love how this book focuses on Ronan—his family, his background, his struggles, and superpowers. Since he’s the token rough guy of the group, it’s nice to see his interactions in a more intimate way in this story. I also love the Gray Man—a hit man—and how human he is throughout the tale despite, you know, his occupation. Maggie Stiefvater always has a way of sewing her magic in with reality while maintaining an overall non-magical world around them. And her humor is perfection. I definitely recommend The Raven Cycle, especially if you love magic, cars, and sarcastic heroines.
Recommended to: Paranormal YA fans and readers who love sass and class. Light romance (with great tension) and beautifully poetic prose.
Favorite Quote: Solutions were easy, once you knew what was in your way.
