it was amazing
bookshelves: 2015, graphic-novel-comics

The world is ending, and there's nothing Kamala can do--except have one last kickass superhero teamup and spend time with her loved ones. This is by far and bar none of the best use of the Last Days conceit Marvel forced on their many series. It used the end of the world in pitch perfect ways. I teared up when Kamala and her mom talked, and I cheered when she and Carol did their saving (gorgeous yet functional, it's how we roll), and I wanted to hug her and Bruno. The one thing I would have liked was a conversation between her and Nakia. She and Zoe even talked, Nakia was definitely the missing link (the Frozen conversation, no matter how cute, lacked the depth of every other character's moments). But her mother. LOVED IT. This series started great and only got better. I can't wait for the all-new series.
