liked it
bookshelves: western, weird-western

I grabbed this one because it said Gothic Western on the cover. It was a really odd one. The writing is simplistic but has a bit of a hypnotic quality. I'll read more Brautigan if I happen across them.

Marvin I would recommend either Trout Fishing in America or The Abortion.

Watermelon Sugar is the one that keeps getting mentioned to me. It's been years since I read The Hawkline Monster and I haven't run across another Brautigan book.

Brigette I would totally recommend Willard and His Bowling Trophies

Someone told me about Willard and His Bowling Trophies years ago but it was out of print at the time. I'll have to investigate
