it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** An awesome continuation of an epic saga. This time the story was much less predictable and I found myself constantly surprised by the twists and turns in the plot. The characters are the same, wonderfully created and compelling. The love-story is so complex I'm beginning to think I'm going to have ripped most of my hair from my skull by the end of the series, but I'm still convinced Clary and Jace aren't really biological siblings...I mean, really, what's the point with their sizzling chemistry if they actually are? The fabulous one-liners weren't as many in this book as in the last, but Jace still takes my breath away with his wit. This series has me tossing and turning at night because I want to keep reading...and I'm starting the third book STAT!

Cassandra Clare
“I don't want to be a man," said Jace. "I want to be an angst-ridden teenager who can't confront his own inner demons and takes it out verbally on other people instead."
"Well," said Luke, "you're doing a fantastic job.”
