it was amazing

I zipped through this book ... it's one I absolutely could not put down. The story itself is, of course, fascinating, but the book is also well written and easy to read. The author goes back and forth between the events of and leading up to landing his plane in the Hudson River, and his early life, military experience, and civilian career. My dad was a career Air Force pilot, and I'm going to buy this book for him. Anyone who is interested in flying, air disasters, the airline industry, etc., would enjoy this book. (If you're jittery about flying, though, I wouldn't recommend this as a book to take on your next flight ... )
