it was amazing
bookshelves: mythology, children-s, 2012-reads
Recommended for: ages 8+
Read from January 04 to 09, 2012

After an eight month nap, Percy Jackson is back, but he can barely remember his name. Now he's in a Roman camp where things are familiar yet completely foreign at the same time. Suddenly Mars, the God of war, has tapped him for a quest. Bum, bum, BUM!!!

This book mirrors Jason's story in The Lost Hero, yet it's still engaging and not at all repetitive. Almost every chapter ends on a cliff hanger making the reader want to continue just to find out what happens.

I seriously loved it even though I'm more of a Greek myth fan than a Roman one. The book makes me excited to read the next book ("The Mark of Athena, to be released fall 2012).

Also, why are all of the top reviews on this book "OMGGGGG!!!! I cAn'T WAIT tO rEaD tHiS!!!!"? ಠ_ಠ
