liked it

This is a good story and I enjoyed it, but I have to say there were a couple of nit-picky things that pulled me out of the story and kept me from falling in love with the characters and feeling part of their journey.

Ms. Burns continues the "honor" theme so much that it became annoying. It's not so much that I lost focus of the story, but enough that it kept me separate from the characters. I also felt that the hero and heroine could have "talked" over the conflict that kept them separated much sooner than it happened. I just didn't buy into the fact that these lovers (who interactions are hot, hot, hot) misunderstood the actions of the other when in fact they were so obviously crazy in love with each other.

That being said, I really did enjoy the book. And this really is a 3.5 stars review. I will very likely pick up the next in this series as I did fall in love with the idea of this world.
