Sometimes its important to read the older comic books, to learn the character's history and how they came to be. Especially if its a good story arc or good writer. In this case it both making it much more adaptable to our times. In this volume Daredevil's ex Karen Page (turned porn star turned heroin attic) sells Daredevil's identity for a hit of heroin, which of course end up in the hands of Kingpin. On comes Kingpin plan to ruin Matt Murdock's life. As much I love Frank Miller for being a badass he surprisingly touches on some real emotional elements. Like Matt Murdock fierce will to survive and the classic scene of Karen Page hitting rock bottom in Matt Murdock's arms. A must read if you are to ever call your self a comic book fan!
