Secret Alpha (A is for Alpha Male, #2)

Goodness. This POV was definitely needed. I'm satisfied with knowing what was going on behind the scenes with Danny. None of what he went through while Haley was off exploring the West was what I expected. Arms deals? Stalking/tailing? Captivity? Totally unexpected but well worth knowing. It made for a well-rounded read. I actually enjoyed this one more than the first, even though it wasn't as funny. It was just more real. And we get more of an idea of the tragedy that happened 22 years ago.
The side characters added more depth. I love that Allison and Wade will end up together. They need another stab at happiness and I think they can empathize with each other because they both lost their first loves though cancer. And I knew Allison knew the truth of everything!! How could she not?!
For the epilogue, I wanted more. I wanted more hijinks and hilarity. I wanted babies. I just really like this couple and really appreciated all of the KA references (The Gamble is still a favourite of mine)!!
