How far would an individual go to protect the name and honor of his family? Brian McCarren killed his former commanding officer, Nobody disputes that. But why? And was it self defense? Not even Brian knows because he has a black hole in his memory. Family honor, military honor, friendship, and PTSD all play a major role in this story of the court room drama that follows the killing of Captain Joe D'Abrusso. This does show the damage done to the heroes who have fought in many wars, but especially the war on terror where the combatants are not always identifiable.
