The most epic battle in history is about to take place with Heaven's angels on one side and Hell's demons on the other. Armageddon has arrived and it was all predicted but Agnes Nutter in a book of cryptic verses left for her descendents. As events come to a head one angel and one demon are deadset on preventing the cataclysmic end with a dash of humor, a lot of complications and the particular wry wit of authors Gaiman and Pratchett.

Gaiman and Pratchett are two of my favorite writers so it's no surprise I loved this book. The humor is sharp and precise, the characters vivid, the descriptions perfert and the pace just right. There are so many wonderful lines in this book that you could sit and quote them all day. A fun read and some great insights into modern society as well.
