it was amazing

For anyone that is a teenager or has been a teenager, I'm sure you'll recognize a bit of yourself in Meadow Perkins. I know I did. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say that author A.E. Snow has made that very easy for me.

I truly enjoyed "Meadow Perkins, Trusty Sidekick." In fact, I read it on one day (we'll not speak about the fact that I was having so much fun reading, I lost track of time and forgot to start dinner — oops, reader problems, right?)

So what made this particular YA character special? Meadow Perkins is so likable, I would have loved to have had a friend like her in high school. She thinks she's dorky and less than special, but she's so very wrong. A.E. Snow takes the reader on a delightful journey as Meadow discovers she's more than mean girl Emilia's best friend, more than a shadow to her extremely talented older sister and more than just a legacy to her family's prestigious art world name.

As Meadow begins to step out of her sidekick mentality and spread her own wings, her life really becomes quite more interesting. She reconnects with an old friend, goes to her first real party and even finds herself caught between two boys.

I highly recommend "Meadow Perkins, Trusty Sidekick" by A.E. Snow, you won't be disappointed. Snow combines wit, very likable characters and story that will resonate with anyone who's ever felt like a sidekick.
