Never Let Me Go had a slow start, but a strong finish. The way Ishiguro slowly reveals small bits of information as Kathy recalls them gives the reader a similar experience to Kathy's own upbringing. Although her voice rang true, I never really connected to Kathy. I found myself more interested in the ethical issues surrounding Kathy's story rather than the characters themselves.
