Wendel’s workshop is about an inventor that doesn’t like anything that isn’t perfect. He always throws away his work that is imperfect or doesn’t do a thing the right way. He builds a robot to help keep his shop clean but he ends up throwing away the robot. The robot doesn’t do that good of a job so he is imperfect and he gets thrown away by Wendel. But now he has a robot that does is job too well, because the robot then throws himself a well. This is a pretty interesting kids book and has a lot of things going on in it. The illustations are pretty decent and bring another level to the story which I liked. But for a teachable lesson I don’t know if I have one for this story. It is more of a fun book that is just enjoyable to read more than anything. Or if I reach the teachable moment could be that it is okay if something isn’t perfect.
