it was ok
bookshelves: post-apocalyptic-dystopian, sci-fi-fantasy

This book was hugely disappointing. There's a satisfying end to the series (at least, somewhat satisfying), but 80% of this could have been removed and the effect would have been the same.

I have so many problems with this book. Huge spoiler cut ahead!

Elizabeth I think you make a lot of good points. But just wanted to mention, Donald murdered Anna in Shift, so he can't wake her up. I'm also 99% sure that Donald bombed silo 40 to smithereens. It's gone now . . . I think he actually bombed silo 40 and all the other silos that had "gone dark." Or rather, Donald himself didn't bomb them, he ordered them to be bombed in Shift. That's why the "pilots" who fly the drones were actually on a 6 month shift before they went back into deep freeze. That's at least how I read it, and I feel like I'm right, but there's certainly a ton of people who either missed that part, or think Silo 40 is still out there. Any way, have a nice day!

Emily Yes, my last paragraph was an alternate reality for what I wanted to happen :)
