Read from February 04 to 09, 2011

Enjoyed this much more than I expected. A dead man writes the story of his life from the grave. The tone is very modern, with very little description, and much frank discussion on sex, selfishness and meaninglessness. Comparisons to Candide kept coming to mind (though the language was more modern); I suppose the multiple references to Pangloss helped with that.

Plan to write a paper this weekend on the concept of ownership in it (something of a departure from the actual essay question, but I can make it work), which means I'll revisit all the little post-it flags I left along the way...
