4.5 STARS

J.A. Huss has done it again! She has delivered a new series that I’m now addicted to! She has put a fresh spin to those superhero stories and movies that I loved whilst growing up, and in true Huss style, she has made it her own! Anarchy Found was the perfect beginning to the series, the world and character building was exceptional and the plot was addictive. But what I love most… the cover art and the way it is used to tell aspects of the story (see teaser below the review!).

Detective Molly Masters has had a rough time lately. She has lost so much and has decided a change to her career will help. Landing in Cathedral City is supposed to be a fresh start for her. When she’s on her way to sell her brother’s bike, she meets Bike Boy, an arrogant and infuriating guy that pushes her buttons the wrong way. Watching them interact was amusing and I loved how you could see Bike Boy was constantly thinking and trying to work it to his favour.

Lincoln Wade was the alpha I expected him to be; cold, dominant, and broody. He has spent most of his life in the shadows and I slowly learnt about his past, his regrets and the plans he has set for the future. I liked seeing his connection with Molly grow, knowing that there is more there than what meets the eye. He’s quite reserved, hiding his emotions, but what he feels for Molly goes quite deep.

Anarchy Found has set the foundation for the rest of the series. I learned a lot about the world and all of the characters. There were a few side characters introduced that are essential to the series arc. I enjoyed each twist introduced, which opened my eyes to how much time and detail that has gone into what Lincoln is trying to achieve. There was plenty of action, constant plotting and intense sex scenes. Being a superhero read, you are waiting for the villain to make an appearance and he was mean and in it for himself. I loved how each twist was revealed and I felt like I was in a constant state of shock, with my mouth hanging open. It was a fantastic read, and now I’m dying for more!
