Zane’s about to go on the treasure hunt of his life and he needs a master mechanic to keep his ship in working order. Enter Teal. I’d like to say that there’s an instant attraction and sparks fly, but that’s not the case. This book is about a high seas adventure and the dance that Teal and Zane do as they find their way to each other. With lots of action, mystery, danger, camaraderie and romance, Cherry Adair brings us the first book of her Cutter Cay Trilogy. I had a fondness for Teal and as a heroine she's definitely the "odd girl/plain Jane" that helps save the day. She's smart, witty and a match for Zane. Zane is both uber attractive and charismatic - together they make an interesting team. There is lots of action and adventure in this one and it all takes place on the high seas; a location I don't often read about but these modern day treasure hunters definitely held my interest. There were one too many villains in this one, but my interest was peaked by the characters, particularly the three brothers and I'm interested enough to want to read the next book in this trilogy.
