Alisa I'll be interested to hear what you think. I've always wanted to read it. I even got it out of the library once but it ended up going back unread. V. curious.

John I'm on page 50 and so far it's the best thing I've read in years. Full of tangents and philosophizing that sometimes veers too close to the naval, but otherwise it's quite incredible.

Alisa Uh-oh: "Best thing I've read in years." That's a lot to live up to. Now I'm afraid to read it.

John I should modify that to say "The best thing I've read in years, except for six weeks last summer."
