Jack Reacher is back and you know the bodies are going to start piling up. This one takes place in New York City, a place I have never been, nor do I have any desire to go there. What seems odd is how Reacher, basically a drifter, knows the exact lay of the city. Where the streets are located how they run and all of that. He even has the subway system down like an old pro. The others in the series have all taken place in small towns that Reacher scopes out before tearing the place down. Perhaps he is an old New Yorker at heart. Anyhow this one was still very good, more than three stars but not quite up to the four star level.
