liked it

It was good enough. The situation added a new dimension to the standard chick-lit setup, but I didn't think the writing was anything extraordinary--at some points, I felt I would've been hard pressed to distinguish Emily Giffin from Marian Keyes or Lauren Weisberger (both of whom, incidentally, contributed glowing reviews for the book jacket...hmm). Anyway, for my money, Judy Blume's Summer Sisters is a much more real and emotional portrayal of this brand of female friendship.

That said, I'll still be reading Something Blue--as a writer, I'm intrigued by the concept of two novels that tell the same story from different points of view.
