it was ok
bookshelves: graphic-novels

Eh, wasn't bad, but wasn't particularly good either. I was expecting so much more from this graphic novel and it definitely did not meet my expectations. I didn't like the fact that they skipped a couple major scenes in the graphic novel version... And the artwork was only so-so. Although I didn't like it maybe it can somehow motivate a couple of my students.

a I always hate when they do a graphic novel of a well-liked piece of literature or a movie or something. It never, ever lives up to the hype.

Danielle Yeah, tell me about it... There is nothing that annoys me more (well maybe naughty students who can't behave) than a graphic novel or movie that ruins a good book!

a Yep! The worst part about Percy Jackson is that the movie had almost nothing to do with the book. I was really disappointed. Now I don't know that they'll ever make the rest of the movies, sadly.
