I think this book is pretty good, though I liked first one better. I've never been to USA, but there was too much LA and LA weird lifestyle ( I don't know whether any of it is true). I think first book was more clear and Joe's focus was on one person - Beck. Here, too many people were involved.

Still, I was happy to discover same style of telling the story and Joe with his wicked thoughts. For those, who liked the first book, I would recomedt to read the second one. For other readers... read the first book :-)
