it was amazing
bookshelves: 1-10, young-adult-lit

Absolutely amazing book! I have never been so drawn into a book young adult lit book like this! It's incredibly good for young people facing issues of self esteem. It takes place in the future at a time when everyone is ugly until they are 16 and then they become pretty through a full body plastic surgery. If everyone looks beautiful together than no one will ever have to worry about their image. The main character sees the society through a different light, and together with some friends they try to fight the leaders. She discovers that she is pretty for who she is not what she looks like, and it's our differences that make us who we are. It's thrilling and adventurous with a little bit of love and a litte bit of heart break.
