I've always loved the aesthetic of Art Noveau artwork, particularly the style of illustration. This book, which has handsome glossy pages and is thoroughly illustrated with color photographs and reproductions throughout, gave me a good introduction to the influences of Art Noveau, the movement's major players, and the lasting influence of the style. If you're already familiar with the movement and its place in art history, you more than likely won't learn anything new, but if you're like me and your art history background is lacking, this would be a great place to start.
