's review

it was ok

Let me begin simply by saying I'm grateful that Seth shared his story, and even more grateful that he does so with honesty and vulnerability. It's true, this book is about more than alcohol. The biggest reason that I didn't give this more than three stars is that I had a hard time following what writings (portions of different chapters) were from his 90-day journal and what were the "updates" or the more recent words added in so that it all flows together. Instead of simply reading along, I often found myself pausing to attempt to figure out when the words were being written.

This isn't to say that is writing isn't good, but simply that I felt turned around and upside down in the story many times, uncertain of the timeline.
