This took me forever to read - finally I couldn't stand it and just skipped ahead the last few chapters to the ending. It was fascinating to see inside a fictional Jewish community, set in the south of all places, which made for some funny situations. The first person plural point of view kept throwing me off. But I enjoyed the overall premise - accepting variety in a mostly homogeneous group. Absolute best line of the book: "Shabbat Shalom, y'all."
