really liked it

Interesting novel painting a picture of the discoveries in Physics during the first half of the 20th century that have altered the History of Science and our perceptions of 'reality' forever.
I liked the philosophical and of course the epistemological and ethical questions raised by Jorge Volpi and how he uses structure of mathematics and logic to tell the story of a modern Parcival with the name of Francis Bacon.

The big disappointment: the chauvinistic and superficial way he presents the three women only in this super masculine world. And no comment on the definition of 'love' and the behaviour with regards to women in the experience of the two main characters as well of several Nobel prize winners that play a part in this intellectual very stimulating narrative.
