it was ok

Definitely my least favorite of Debbie's books. I felt like the quality of them declined as they went...I guess she was running out of things to tell without repeating herself. Debbie: My Life was very interesting, Unsinkable was not quite as good, and this one felt very scattered and disjointed and vague. I didn't feel like she repeated stories from before, but the stories that she did tell weren't really that interesting or worth telling. And there seemed to be only the vaguest of organization...the stories are grouped together in ways that doesn't make sense to me.

It was an unusual, rather sad experience to read this (written just a few years ago) not long after Debbie's death. It makes it sadly ironic when she optimistically mentions her future and that of her daughter.
