liked it

I liked it. After reading “David Copperfield”, I would guess that it’ll never be called a “classic” but, nevertheless, it was a fun read.

Isaac Bell is a great character. As a detective at the turn of the century, the writers paint an interesting picture of life at that time. Technology was just starting to evolve more quickly and they intertwine it in the story nicely. I enjoyed the plot twists….and as in all of Cussler’s books, there’s a chase in an expensive classic car.
