really liked it

A good quick read about survival during a horrible war. I loved the setting of an abandoned theme park, a place that should be full of life and laughter instead filled with silence and the intrusion of an occassional tank. The only thing I would have liked to have more of is some more description especially of the park itself. We never really went anywhere other than the ghost house, carousel and ferris wheel. I guess I wondered why they walked so far to scrounge for things when surely there should have been some food shops in the park as well; but it seemed as if the characters never really looked. Otherwise I thought it was a great book.
